At S.O.S. StudiesTM each child is unique. This is why we proceed to a preliminary meeting with you and your child.
It is during this meeting that we will evaluate with you your child’s specific needs. We will also match your child to the appropriate person according to his/her personality and needs.
With our Guarantee of Service you can be assured that our staff will deal with you in a competent way, and that your child will have a comfortable, yet professional, relationship with his/her teacher.
Special Education teachers are available for evaluations and/or personalized follow up programs. Having received a Bachelor’s degree in special education or educational adaptation, these teachers can support and help your child to overcome his/her difficulties, whether it be attention deficit, hyperactivity, difficulties with fine motor skills, dyslexia, or any other learning disability.
Sixth grade students can benefit from our special program for the preparation of private school entrance exams. This program starts in the beginning of September in the Greater Montreal Area, and in October in the Outaouais region.
Groups of students are helped to review the main ideas of French and mathematics by means of a practical document provided. Part of the program also deals with stress and time management during the exam. At the end of the program a series of practical exams will be given, and a detailed evaluation will be provided for the parents. Contact us for more information.
It is possible to enroll your child in a final exam simulation for most high school subjects. This exam simulation will allow your child to do a general review before the final exams at his/her school. Dates vary from branch to branch. Check with us soon!
In spite of their efforts, some secondary school students do not suceed in getting a passing mark in certain subjects. S.O.S. Studies™ offers a program to help students prepare their final exam in August. Arrangements vary from region to region, so please contact us for more information.
The language training programs are directed to teaching a new language to young children, teenagers, and adults. Courses are available in private, semi-private and small group plans.All centres offer French, English, and Spanish, however certain branches also offer other languages such as Italian and Polish.
