In addition to the basic tutoring services, S.O.S. Studies™ has developed an expertise in the preparation of 6th grade students for private schools entrance exams.
In fact, every year in September we gather 6th grade students in small groups where we go through the principal notions of French and Maths. The program ends with an exam simulation in order to prepare the students for their entrance exams.
All of our services are backed up by educational tools and complementary programs. One example is the preparation program for final exams, which is extremely useful to both the student and his/her assigned tutor.
Each year, many students, from Secondary 1 up to Secondary 5, register for this program during the months of March and April. Final exams simulations are organized in most subjects, and a detailed evaluation of each exam is prepared for each student. In this way, the strengths and weaknesses can be determined, in order to set up a specialized program of preparation for the official exams in June.
Summer classes, followed by exams, occur in July and August. High School students can register in May and June for individual or group sessions in Maths, French, etc.
In reality, the team at S.O.S. Studies™ Montreal/Laval, including our tutors, teachers, and special educators, are at your service year round – including the summer! In fact, a number of public and private schools in the area trust S.O.S Studies™ to the point of willingly distributing our information brochures to parents who are looking for satisfactory solutions to the difficulties their child may be facing in school.
At S.O.S. Studies™ Montreal/Laval the success of each student is very important to us. Whether the sessions are given at our centre on St. Hubert Street (in Montreal), or in your own home, we are determined to deliver a friendly, professional, and personalized service.
